About College Station Septic Systems
College Station Septic Systems is a locally owned OSSF installer working unsewered property in and around College Station, Texas. We install aerobic treatment systems, convert failed conventional systems to aerobic, read the site and soil that decides a design, handle the county permitting, and carry the maintenance contracts the state requires. We are licensed and insured in Texas.
The thing that separates an aerobic system that runs for years from one that fails early is work nobody sees on the quote. The tank gets set level so the internal chambers treat the way they should. The dispersal is sized off what the soil actually showed, not off the size of the yard. The control panel goes where the alarm can be heard. The disinfection gets kept up so a spray system never lands under-treated water. Set that against a unit dropped in fast and left to run untended until the yard tells on it.
Brazos County is clay country, and the clay is usually what makes the decision. A conventional trench field needs soil that drains, and heavy clay will barely accept water, so lot after lot here passes only as an aerobic design. Near the Brazos and the Navasota rivers, a seasonal high water table adds a second reason to keep the dispersal shallow. That is the whole argument for reading the ground where the system is going before anyone talks price.
We also say no. A routine tank pump-out belongs to a pump truck, and they are cheaper at it than we are. If your system does not yet need what we do, we will tell you. And we will not sell you an aerobic system the soil does not require, any more than we will promise a conventional one the soil will not carry. The evaluation settles it, and we let it.
